Tips for finding accommodation

Our halls of residence are very popular. Time and again, we receive enquiries from students who unfortunately cannot find accommodation with us due to the high demand. We have launched a new service for them - an overview with lots of tips on finding accommodation.

This overview lists providers who offer accommodation for students in Dortmund and at the FH Südwestfalen campuses. It is aimed at students who are not very familiar with Dortmund and the surrounding region and can use the list to get an initial orientation.

The list is divided into accommodation for short-term and longer-term periods and includes youth hostels, hostels, private providers of student accommodation and online accommodation exchanges.
