Management assistant for office management
You are an all-round talent in office operations. You will carry out commercial and administrative assistance and secretarial tasks, look after students, employees and service providers, manage appointments or carry out other office work. You'll get to know the versatility of the Studierendenwerk as you work in various departments during your training, e.g. in purchasing, accounting, human resources or building management. After the training, you will be equipped for the working world in the office.
Chef
As a chef, you will be challenged by your craft. But you don't just produce food, you are also responsible for calculating and organising menu sequences and menus. And you are familiar with all areas of kitchen technology. During your training, you will learn the various cooking methods as well as all preparatory work in the service department. Purchasing and merchandise management are just as much a part of your job as well-structured kitchen organisation - and with around 6,000 guests a day, that's essential. Last but not least, good food is an enjoyable experience and your creativity is welcome. You will be part of a large kitchen crew and benefit from the knowledge of the professionals and a structured working day with pleasant working and holiday times. After training, all paths are open to you in the world of gastronomy.
IT specialist in the field of system integration
You have completed your entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences - ideally in the IT field - with good grades in English, mathematics and, if applicable, in information technology subjects. During your training, you will get to know the Studierendenwerk's IT in detail. Topics include operating systems, network architectures, programming logic, IT security, support and training. In addition to your technical understanding, you should be creative when it comes to implementing innovative IT solutions. A willingness to learn and enjoy contact with colleagues in the various departments are also good prerequisites for this versatile profession. By the way, you can work in almost any company, because IT systems are indispensable in every company in every industry.
