The Studierendenwerk strives to reduce barriers in our service areas and in our buildings. On this page we explain our approach with a few examples. If you have any further improvements, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Cutlery boxes and tray trolleys
In the main canteen, individual cutlery boxes have been positioned low. This means that people sitting in wheelchairs can also help themselves. Table trolleys are available so that the tray can reach the table safely.
Structural measures
In the residential complexes and in the canteen building, structural measures help with orientation, for example with the tactile guidance system in the canteen foyer. Places for people with disabilities are available in our residential complexes.
Acoustic call system
In the waiting areas for Student Housing and Student Financing/BAföG, you will receive an acoustic signal when your appointment is called.
