    The Psychological Counselling Service of the Studierendenwerk (PSBE) offers an open consultation hour every Thursday at 1 pm. This gives students at TU Dortmund University, FH Dortmund University and FH Südwestfalen quick and uncomplicated access to professional help.

  9. Veganuary: Our canteens are joining in!

    A healthy start to the new year! The Studierendenwerk canteens are kicking off the 2025 campaign year with Veganuary. Vegan products will increasingly feature on the menus in the first four weeks. Guests in the main canteen can also help themselves to a buffet every day, which will mainly feature dishes made with plant-based meat from the company Happy Meat.

  10. From January: Archeteria opens longer in the afternoon

    The Archeteria is starting the new year with new opening hours. From Monday to Friday, it will be open one hour longer on South Campus. This means that all students and staff can get drinks, snacks and hot food until 5 p.m. and until 3.30 p.m. on Fridays.

  11. Kita im Grünen gets new telephone numbers

    From Tuesday, 3 December 2024, the doorbell system in our Kita im Grünen will be replaced. The telephones will also be connected to the Studierendenwerk telephone system, as a result of which all telephone numbers in the centre will change. The central telephone number will then be 0231/20649-711 with immediate effect.

    Orange Day 2025: Our canteens are part of it!

    Studierendenwerk and other organisations are sending out a visible signal against violence against women with a large-scale sandwich bag campaign. More than 150,000 orange sandwich bags will be handed out in the city from 25 November - the International Day against Violence against Women - under the slogan "Gewalt kommt uns nicht in die Tüte!".

  15. Canteen opened for the open day

    TU Dortmund University hosted an open day on Saturday (9 November) and many visitors came - also to take a look behind the scenes of the main canteen. The Studierendenwerk offered five guided tours over the course of the day to experience the largest canteen on campus from a completely different perspective.
