Winter programme of psychological counselling
Coping with stress, setting boundaries, mastering social situations and finding your feet again with a mental illness - these are just some of the topics covered by the Studierendenwerk's psychological counselling programme in the winter semester.
Semester-accompanying group programme for students after/with mental illness
The group programme offers students with a mental illness the opportunity to discuss study-related topics once a week during the lecture period. How do I find my way back into everyday study life after a break in my studies due to illness? How do I overcome learning difficulties? How do I deal with my illness in front of lecturers and fellow students? What opportunities does the campus offer me to recover between courses? These and other topics will be discussed together.
The group is moderated by a psychologist. To participate in the group, you must have a mental illness and have already completed or started treatment.

I don't know how to say it ..." - Mastering social situations
Saying "no", saying "yes", asserting your rights, talking about your feelings, resolving a conflict in your shared flat, having a conversation with your lecturer, calling your health insurance company, breaking up with someone, a job interview, having to tell your parents something, going to a party alone, looking for a flat, etc.
You know best which interactional or social challenges you face in your everyday (study) life. Collect them and bring them to this workshop.
The aim of this workshop is to develop strategies for successfully and competently coping with these situations. In addition to theoretical input, the focus will be on practical exercises and role plays.
The number of participants is limited to 10 students.

What am I worth (to myself)?
What is it actually - self-worth? What value do I ascribe to myself and on the basis of which standards? How do I want to feel about myself and what can I do to maintain a healthy sense of self-worth?
Our workshop "What am I worth (to myself)?" deals with these questions. Scientific theories are presented and participants are invited to take a critical look at their own self-esteem. Over the course of three consecutive sessions, steps will be taken towards a healthier self-esteem.
The number of participants is limited to 10 students.

"Yes to no" - setting boundaries with confidence
"I just can't say no", "I have helper syndrome", "I always want everyone to be happy" - these and other statements are made by people who find it difficult to set behavioural and emotional boundaries. But how do I recognise my boundaries? Why do I find it so difficult to set boundaries? How do I recognise that I have crossed my own boundaries? And finally, how do I communicate my boundaries to others? We want to explore these questions together in the workshop, because: You can learn to set boundaries!
The number of participants is limited to 10 students.
