We process the video surveillance image material exclusively in analogue form in a direct connection between the video camera and the display screen. The image data is used exclusively to grant access to our premises to authorised persons only. Furthermore, video surveillance enables us to intervene directly in the event of offences. The expediency results from the protection of the organisation's property, as well as that of the employees. All data collected here is used exclusively for the purposes stated in the paragraph.

The legal basis is § 20 DSG NRW.

• Protection of health, property and possessions, in particular deterring and clearing up damage to property of the vehicles in the car park

The video images are displayed on a monitor. There is no automated recording. In principle, employees with a view of the monitor see the same as employees with a direct view of the car park.

The evaluation is carried out on an ad hoc basis by the responsible employees of the Studierendenwerk Dortmund.

You have the right to information about the personal data we process about you in accordance with Article 15 of the GDPR. You have the right to rectification pursuant to Article 16 of the GDPR, to erasure pursuant to Article 17 of the GDPR, to restriction of processing pursuant to Article 18 of the GDPR and the right to object pursuant to Article 21 of the GDPR. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO, for example with the LDI NRW, Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
