Short-term use of disposable crockery and cutlery
Unusual circumstances require unusual measures: Contrary to our maxim of only using reusable crockery, we are unfortunately forced to issue disposable crockery and cutlery in some establishments at short notice at the moment.
The severe staff shortage due to a high sickness rate currently leaves no alternative. Our top priority is to provide for our students, which we want to ensure at all costs. For this reason, staff are now mainly being deployed in production and serving, which means that some of the sculleries cannot be staffed. However, this is the only way we can keep the facilities open.
It is important to mention that the disposable version is also an environmentally friendly, sustainable material that is made from the by-products of sugar cane processing and is also compostable.
We hope that the situation will soon ease again and that we can return to normal operations. In the meantime, we ask for your understanding and look forward to your visit.
